Job Summary
The General Maintenance Associate is responsible for the general upkeep of the interior and exterior areas of the distribution center and may include the general office area. This includes detailed troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical devices and helping establish preventative maintenance programs. This individual should also play a primary role in the location safety.
Essential Functions
· Perform preventative maintenance as required.
· Troubleshooting/Repair in areas such as conveyor maintenance
· Provide support in facility reconfiguration (i.e., Racking, shelving layout etc.)
· Working with outside vendors
· Participate is safety activities
· Exercises care within work environment to prevent injuries. Support and follow all company safety policies and procedures (for individual contributors)
· Maintains safe and healthful working conditions within stewardship by ensuring all associates comply with company safety policies and procedures (for people managers)
All Distribution Center Associates must be able to perform their daily work activities in a safe manner while following established location safety guidelines.
This position is M-F, 6am-3:30pm.
Minimum Required Qualifications
· High School Diploma
· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in facility maintenance or applicable trade(s) OR equivalent experience.
· Must be able to operate power industrial truck, or ability to be trained.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
· Strong problem-solving abilities.
· Demonstrated competency in mechanical skills and general repairs.
· Must be able to understand / interpret blueprints and schematics.
· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to understand pneumatic and hydraulic applications
· Strong knowledge of electrical systems

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
