Position: Annual Fund Coordinator

Information: Reporting to the Director of Operations, this is full-time, hybrid position with an in-person requirement on Tuesdays in our Ann Arbor office and any other days as needed to fulfill the requirements of the position.

Organizational Background:

International Samaritan was founded by a Jesuit priest in 1994 to raise the standard of living among people working in the garbage dump of Guatemala City, and the organization has grown to Ethiopia, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Kenya, Nicaragua, and Uganda. The mission of the International Samaritan is to walk hand-in-hand with people in garbage dump communities, along with those with a calling to help, to break the chains of poverty and to improve our lives together. A Christ-centered organization, International Samaritan is built on the principles of Catholic Social Teaching.

Position Description:

The Annual Fund Coordinator will manage all aspects of giving from donors 1K and under

Primary Responsibilities:

• Set goals and yearly fundraising/communication plans.
• Lead and manage all campaigns including the IntSam5K
• Communicate with givers through a multichannel approach, phone, e-mail, snail mail, text, social media.
• Build and manage a monthly giving product
• Build data flows in CRM in order to:
• Capture second gifts from new donors
• identify monthly giving prospects
• identify mid-level prospects
• identify major donor prospects
• reengaged lapsed donors on a rolling 5-year basis

The position will be measured both on the growth in the annual fund portfolio as well as OUTGROWTH into mid and major giving.

We see our annual fund portfolio growing from 150K per year to 500K per year over the next 3 years as well as contributing to the creation of our major giving portfolio. .
