Essential job duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet guests, check them in and out. Complete all necessary tasks for checking guest’s in and out
- Operate the switchboard telephone, taking and transferring calls, taking messages, always noting time and date with name and return number, recording and making guest wake up calls.
- Responsible for cash taken in on shift.
- Must understand the proper procedure for credit card authorizations.
- Know all emergency procedures and how to handle an emergency. This includes how to help guests with disabilities.
- Must know room rates, how to look up room rates, make reservations, room type and room type availability, room furnishings and room location.
- Take reservations received by phone, mail, or in person. Properly record and file reservation information correctly and accurately
- Set up and maintain the breakfast bar.
- Be aware of who is in the pool at all times.
- For guest convenience, be knowledgeable of location of attractions, restaurants, shopping, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
