The Front Desk position is a key part of the overall success at Sleep Inn Fayetteville. Front Desk Staff is the first and/or last person a guest comes in contact with, which sets the tone for the experience the guest has during their stay or could be a great ending to their stay.

It is very important that the individual possesses a strong outgoing & friendly personality, with an ability to pay close attention to details. The successful candidate should be able to work well with others, while demonstrating an ability to work unsupervised. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Learning the POS system and the ends and outs of different reservations (direct bookings & 3rd party bookings)
• Greet all guests in a friendly manner and follow check in procedures
• Take payments and post accurately to guest accounts
• Handle incoming telephone calls
• Handling guest communication in a friendly fashion. Accurately making notes in reservation, communication log or maintenance log as needed.
• Other duties include but not limited to: Finishing laundry for the day washing, drying and folding towels, cleaning lobby and lobby bathrooms

Qualifications: Previous hospitality experience preferred

• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal essential
• Ability to work in a multi-tasking, fast paced environment
• Demonstrated strong customer service skills
• Ability to work additional shifts/ trade shifts when needed
• Ability to work independently or with team members
