Kennebec Lumber Company is looking for a skilled production team lead to join our staff. Your work as the team lead will contribute to the growth of our company in several keyways. You will be asked to motivate and inspire your team to ensure they work as efficiently, effectively, and safely as possible. This will require a positive communication style; exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability create and maintain a supportive team environment. To be successful in this position, you will need to be results oriented and capable of managing the day-to-day work of an entire team of individuals. Team Lead Responsibilities:
- Motivate team members to perform at their best
- Set clear goals and communicate that information to team members effectively
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the team
- Delegate tasks as necessary
- Create a supportive team environment
- Machine operation and sustaining relevant knowledge for each machine center
- Upholding quality standards
- Maintaining professionalism
- Monitoring production reports to ensure quality, safety and productivity
Team Lead Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous leadership experience at least 2 years (within this industry preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use data to improve a team’s operational efficiency
6:00 AM-4:30 PM Monday - Friday
