We are seeking a part-time employee to help with customer service and cleaning/restocking. We're looking for someone who is available for 10:00 am - 6:30 pm shifts. Duties include: helping prep retail items, keeping our store clean and organized, answering phones, well as serving our customers at the counter.

• Possesses prior customer service or retail experience (preferred, not required).
• Interested in working closely with the culinary world.
• Has a love of seafood and general knowledge of how to cook seafood (preferred but not required).

Position Responsibilities:

• Package and stock retail items.
• Prep fish and food items for sale.
• Quality control.
• Cleaning and general maintenance of the store front, fridge, kitchen, and back of house.
• Washing dishes.
• Answering phones and checking messages.
• In-person customer service and handling the register.

Position Requirements:

• A current California State Food Handler's License (if you do not have one, they are very easy to acquire).
• Weekend availability.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to stand for long periods .
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
