We are seeking a Controller Assistant to assist the SEA Unit Controller with the day to day financial activities.

Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Essential Functions
- Assure the financial integrity of the unit’s accounting and financial reporting and the security of the unit’s assets.
- Oversight management of Payroll, including audits and compliance with policy; employee benefits as they relate to costs and costs controls, including analyses and audits; Account Payable, inventories, billing, Accounts Receivable and collections.
- Preparation of Capital expenditure request, budgets, weekly flash reports, weekly and monthly forecasts for revenue, labor hours, labor dollars and variable costs, Period P&L.
- Forecast variance analyses including explanations of weekly and monthly variances for food and product cost, labor hours, overtime and labor costs by department, wages and operating cost by line item.
- Forecast, budget and track start-up costs for new accounts.
- Account profit contribution analyses for all major customers.
- Preparation and verification of the Period General Ledger and P&L.
- Help develop processes and procedures that help the unit meet or exceed financial goals, procedures for purchasing, requisitions, and product cost control.
Skills and Qualifications
- BS Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 4 years relative experience.
- ADP application knowledge helpful.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience in the budgeting process.
- Must have Organizational Skills, be Detail Orientated and be able to Multitask.
- Must have Good Communication skills, both written and oral.
