Job Summary

Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, the Finance Shared Services Senior Manager will lead team with responsibility for the timely and accurate processing of all finance processes within the shared services function. The Senior Manager will support the VP of Finance by providing strategic and business leadership to the system wide Finance and Accounting Shared Services for Ayr Wellness.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing all the high volume, transactional finance activity for Ayr Wellness across the US
  • Lead a team of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and T&E professionals across multiple time zones
  • Be the principle point of contact for AR/AP/Cash reporting/T&E and analytics
  • Review current processes, procedures and workflows and implement improvements to become more automated, efficient, centralized while assuring proper division of duties for internal control purposes
  • Drive improvements in AR collection performance and working capital/cash flow
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate processing / disbursement of all corporate and state related expenditures in accordance with the Company's Delegation of Authority
  • Coordinate banking activities associated with AR, AP and T&E for efficient operations
  • Establish and maintain a framework of internal controls, local compliance, fraud prevention and adherence to Minimum Control Standards implemented across the organization
  • Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization, such as cash flow and net working capital impacts, bad debt, credit risks, etc.
  • Be an active participant in support of BPR (Business Process Redesign) transition and other projects as needed
  • Hold full responsibility and accountability for corporate governance and compliance with government laws as they relate to this position
  • Start-up experience is highly preferable; someone who has built processes from the ground up and took ownership.

Qualifications

  • Experience creating teams or processes at inception
  • Experience developing key performance indicators and standard operating procedures
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong excel skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Experience in accounts payable and collections
  • Previous experience leading large teams
  • Understanding and experience of US GAAP
  • Experience working directly with outside parties such as Auditors, Tax Authorities, Local government regulators
  • Advance Microsoft Excel skills (data lookup, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems used in manufacturing, such as Dynamics 365, SAP, or Oracle
  • Ability to travel domestically
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, required
  • CPA or CMA preferred

Experience

  • 4-6 years’ experience leading large teams in finance
