Plays a critical role in the development of the FHA Conduit line of business and serves as an integral member of the FHA Conduit Team. The FHA Conduit purchases, closed, delinquent FHA mortgage loans and sells re-performing FHA mortgage loans. This person will be responsible for monitoring, reporting, and analyzing the pipeline activities for FHA Conduit loans. The job entails professional interactions internally and externally including FHA Conduit’s sellers and buyers, third party due diligence provider(s), third party document custodian(s), third party, sub-servicer(s) and outside legal counsel.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Pipeline Management - 50%

Maintain and refine the FHA Conduit’s purchase mortgage loan conduit pipeline on Excel spreadsheet to i) ensure loan purchase and sale steps are performed timely, ii) analyze and report on transactional performance results and iii) provide recommended process enhancements.

2. Transaction Support - 30%

Assist with completing and reporting all activities timely and in accordance with FHA Conduit’s documented processes and procedures, including but not limited to sellers’ approvals; loan due diligence; collateral document intake; purchase schedule production reviews; servicing transfer; and HMDA template production and distribution.

3. Monthly Reporting Support – 20%

Prepare and analyze monthly reports for: accrued interest receivable and discount accretion reports, consolidated loan data and review monthly interim servicing payment collection reports and bid activity and results.

Minimum Qualifications Include:

  • Some college classes preferred with 3+ years of residential mortgage experience required. Must have experience in mortgage pipeline management, and experience in correspondent lending a plus, FHA experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data diligence
  • Proficiency in Word, Power Point and Access
  • Ability to meet deadlines and multitask
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
