Position Description:
Under the supervision of the Chief of Programs, the Family and Community Liaison (FCL) is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Clay Terrace Family Success Center, including compliance with all contractual agreements, personnel, partnerships, program implementation, program finances, administrative systems and daily reporting. The FCL serves as a liaison to SBY’s administrative staff, other SBY programs, and the community at large.
Staff Requirements:
Minimum qualifications include master’s degree in social work and at least four years of experience managing positive youth development services for disconnected. Previous administrative, clinical and supervisory experiences are also preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills required. A valid driver’s license and car is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight for all aspects of the program including daily programming and supporting staff in providing services to the Clay Terrace community and nearby residents;
- Ensure that the highest quality life skills, education, counseling, and access to family reunification and preservations services are provided to all clients, including extended family members of young people served at the Family Success Center;
- Work with staff to develop systems to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes; develop and maintain administrative systems to upkeep the high quality of services and access;
- Ensure that all documentation, including case files, client statistics, and data entry are accurate, up to date and in compliance with grant requirements; submission of reports to funders and internal stakeholders;
- Work with and maintain relationships with Clay Terrace, Richardson Dwellings and nearby community stakeholders including members of the program’s Community Advisory Board; continuously recruit new members to the Community Advisory Board;
- Maintain longstanding and develop new partnerships with District agencies, non-profits, consultants and other resources in the area;
- Support staff in scheduling and planning community-wide events;
- Recommend personnel actions, including hiring and evaluating; provide training to team members;
- Provide oversight of program budget and spending;
- Within the framework of SBY’s clinical model, provide direct supervision to all staff who interact with clients through one-on-one supervision, staff meetings and live-supervision sessions;
- Ensure proper maintenance of all clinical, administrative and financial records;
- Participate in Managers Meetings and other agency-wide meetings/functions as assigned;
- Plan and facilitate regular meetings of external stakeholders;
- Participate in regular supervision with consultants, trainings and conferences;
- Other duties as assigned.
