Rockmart Animal Hospital is a well-established, progressive, 2 doctor general/small animal/ practice located in Rockmart, GA. Rockmart Animal Hospital is located in Rockmart, Georgia, a part of the Northwest Georgia Region, a fantastic community that is growing rapidly. We are located 45 minutes north of Atlanta. A rails-to-trails success, Georgia's Silver Comet Trail follows an old rail line for 61 miles from just outside of Atlanta to the Georgia-Alabama state line and continues as the Chief Ladiga Trail. One of the longest paved pathways in the United States, the Silver Comet Trail cuts a scenic route through preserved forests, rural countrysides and historic downtowns.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area, greet and welcome clients and patients, answer questions and triage client concerns, answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution, schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow, various clerical duties such as filing medical charts and data entry, check in and check out clients and process payments. Our receptionists offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need to our clients and must be comfortable with various medical outcomes. Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises.

We’re looking for:

• Experienced Veterinary Receptionist with a minimum of 1-year veterinary experience
• Animal Experience required
• Compassionate, Calm, Team Player, Multi-Tasker and Strong Communicator
• Highly organized and possess excellent typing, computer, and filing skills
• Self-starter with the desire to continue to advance your knowledge and skill set.
• A high work ethic and positive attitude team member
• Ability to arrive on-time and ready to work
• Weekend availability
• Exceptional customer service skills and ability to communicate precisely

Previous experience with Avimark software or PetDesk app a plus.

Starting pay for this position is between $10.00 and $12.00 hourly depending on experience.
