The Quick Lube Technician will perform basic vehicle maintenance by performing the following duties:
Guides customer to and from Quick Lube bay area safely.
Greets customer and determines customer needs.
Gather and document customer and vehicle information.
Performs visual and/or digital inspection of the vehicle; noting condition of vehicle upon entry; any potential needed repairs or services.
Performs bay calls to ensure proper procedures are followed and for safety of others.
Performs oil changes and checks other vehicle fluids, knows what fluids to use and determines condition of existing fluids. Tops off fluids and/or recommends fluid exchanges as needed.
Performs inspection of lights, belts, filters, hoses and windshield wipers, replacing if needed. Resets maintenance reminder.
Inspects condition of tires, air inflation pressure and TPMS faults if present. Capable of identifying TPMS faults, resolving fault condition and resetting TPMS. Adjusts tire pressures to appropriate air inflation pressures.
Rotate, repair or replace vehicle tires including mounting and balancing tires
Perform fluid exchanges
Communicates with Service Writer any additional maintenance or service recommended for vehicle.
Transport customers to and from home or work as needed in a safe and courteous manner.
Assist Shop Technicians as needed.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Cleans customer lobby, restrooms and break room as needed.
