Exception Control Analyst Job at Cass Information Systems, Inc.
Responsible for the review and subsequent routing of exception freight invoices.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Review exception invoices on a daily basis in accordance with company standards.
- Verify validity of exception invoices against account procedures.
- Identify obvious trends and communicate findings to management.
- Document processing issues (exceptions processed in error) on forms and route to supervisor or lead for review and reporting.
- Reconcile exception invoices to daily exception reports.
- Distribute exception invoices based on exception routing.
- Maintain thorough understanding of each client’s operational system and associated procedures.
- Suggest changes and/or enhancements to existing procedures to overcome operational or service deficiencies.
- Assist with FBAS (freight bill authorization).
- Assist with invoice resolution.
- Keep management apprised of delays or exceptional activity.
- Maintain a neat and professional work area.
- Work overtime as required by management.
- Perform hourly hand and wrist stretching exercises.
- Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM LEVEL OF PREPARATION AND TRAINING NORMALLY REQUIRED:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Specialized training in analysis or equivalent experience.
- 1 year of experience preferably within the Cass operations areas of DCI/DE, or equivalent experience.
