Summary: The Evaporator Supervisor shall be capable of learning to start up and shut down the evaporator., FE’s and F/C as per plant procedures. This individual is responsible for coordinating a wide variety of installation, repair and maintenance projects. Schedule staff, training, sets priorities, maintains records, budgets jobs, troubleshoots problems and is responsible for company compliance with state and federal codes as well as generally accepted practices of the trade. The goal of Ingomar is to become the best in quality, low cost, customer focused producer of diced and paste tomatoes.

Essential Duties:

• Must be capable of understanding PID drawings and posses math skills as required.
• Make field adjustments of equipment and controls.
• Make regular visual inspections of the operating plant.
• Verification of maintenance procedures and records.
• Assess, develop, implement and evaluate the on-going schedule of all preventative maintenance programs.
• Develop and provide reports which document productivity, maintenance cost, work schedule status and existing and future workload requirements.
• Ensure safe operating condition of equipment.
• Manage head count and schedule for proper coverage while minimizing costs.
• Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP’s)
• Develop critical spare parts list. Oversee ordering and inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
• Performs safety inspections on all equipment to ensure maintenance personnel follow all safety rules and processes and acts as safety role model for maintenance team and company.
• Responsible for new equipment installation and all equipment upgrades.

Food Defense and Safety: The Evaporator Supervisor is a key member of the Food Defense Team. The Supervisor will assist in the development and ensuring the food defense plan is enforced with all employees.

Experience: Three to five years related experience.

Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simples correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Inventory software; Manufacturing software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
