JOB TITLE: Retirement Services Account Manager

REPORTS TO: Executive Team Lead – Retirement Services

Job Summary

Reporting to the Executive Team Lead of the Retirement Services team, this position will support a team of Account Executives in all aspects of servicing existing or prospective clients. This role also supports the MarshMcLennan Agency’s Advisor team in their efforts to secure new retirement business. In this position, the employee will gain a strong foundation of all aspects of the retirement business equipping them to grow within the practice and the company.

Job Responsibilities

• Support client prospect/sales activities including, but not limited to preparing client assessment materials, researching, benchmarking, compiling and summarizing information
• Coordinate onboarding of new clients with Account Executives and Advisors
• Respond efficiently to requests and/or client service issues via phone & email communications
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports, while monitoring automated reporting functions
• Support Account Executives and Advisors in research and client meeting preparations
• Interact effectively with service providers and other external contacts

Job Qualifications

• Strength in analyzing and synthesizing data with the ability to multi-task, prioritize work, possess basic word processing and spreadsheet computer skills
• Ability to demonstrate cooperation and effective communication with clients, vendors and internally with co-workers
• Ability to service our clients effectively through problem solving, appropriate confidentiality, diplomacy, sensitivity and tactfulness
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Bachelor’s Degree with some corporate office work experience
• Excellent written, oral communication and organization skills
