Entertainment Attendant Job at Snoqualmie Casino
Pay Rate: $17.35/hr. DOE

Position Type: Casual (19 hours or less per week)
PURPOSE
To maintain a high level of guest service while providing guest service and support to the Marketing, Security, and other departments as needed. This includes assisting with the setup/tear downs of indoor and outdoor entertainment functions (i.e. concerts, drive-in movie theatre), promotions, special holiday events, team member recognition events, and tribal functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet guests upon entrance to promotion, event, or concerts.
- Scan tickets and direct guests to their seat locations.
- Show guests where to find exits, bathrooms, and concession areas.
- As necessary light the way with flashlights when guests leave their seats.
- Assist with and be knowledgeable in all special events, promotions and entertainment information.
- Assist guests with beverage conversion from glass to plastic.
- Keep assigned work area clean place debris in trash receptacles.
- Guide patrons to exits or provide other instructions or assistance in case of emergency, and adhere to all safety rules.
- Provide assistance with guests’ special needs, such as helping those with wheelchairs.
- Assist with coat check duties, servicing guest information centers and providing guests with amenity information.
- Assist with event setup and tear down as needed.
- Support casino floor by picking up glassware and debris during a scheduled shift, help support Slots and F&B as needed
- Thanks guests when leaving casino or events.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
- One (1) year previous guest service experience.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proven friendly and helpful communication skills.
- Strong public speaking skills, including experience communicating to large groups.
- High level of service ethics and proven customer relations skills.
- Demonstrated professional and outgoing personality.
- Ability to provide a positive experience when interacting with guests and co-workers of all ethnic/cultural backgrounds and/or spoken languages.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret basic documents.
- Ability to respond effectively to all inquiries and/or complaints, including those of a sensitive nature.
- Demonstrate excellent guest service skills and cooperate with other Team Members in providing guest information, assistance and service.

Education and Experience:
- Snoqualmie Casino Career Development Track Series completion.
Snoqualmie Casino exercises Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring, in compliance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO). You must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. The use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant for positions in any department other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I). DOT panel testing is required for the Driver position.
