What you are Empowered to Accomplish:
Plummer is looking for a driven entry level civil or environmental engineer to support our Water/ Wastewater team. You will be exposed to lift stations, pump stations, conveyance, water & wastewater treatment and much more. You will be responsible for creating and analyzing hydraulic models, generating calculations, evaluating treatment options, preparing drawings, specifications, and cost estimates. You will also have a chance to develop your communication skills by providing updates and expectations to project stakeholders.

The Engineer in Training will report to the Design Team Leader, who will provide ongoing guidance and mentorship.
Our Ideal Teammate:
Our ideal teammate will have a bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering and will have or be able to obtain an EIT certification within six months of hire. You’ll stand out if you have a master’s degree or if you have taken prior coursework related to hydraulics and water/wastewater treatment and design.
Our ideal teammate will also have a high proficiency with Microsoft office and preferably a working knowledge of GIS (or similar geographic mapping systems), AutoCad, or Microstation. We are seeking a strong communicator with organizational skills and the ability to collaboratively plan, problem-solve, and follow-through on projects.
