Rousselot of Peabody, MA is seeking to hire a full-time Electrician to join our maintenance team. The primary purpose of this position is to perform breakdown, routine maintenance, and project work on all company equipment including motors and pneumatic tools.

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN ELECTRICIAN

We are a 24/7 facility with many pieces of equipment that need to be serviced. As a plant Electrician, you perform preventative maintenance as scheduled on critical equipment. When there are problems you troubleshoot and safely fix breakdowns to ensure that we meet production goals. You identify and order parts and equipment needed for repairs. You also perform calibrations on instruments and support process changes and capital projects. Our engineers appreciate your assistance with process changes by selecting equipment and materials and providing technical input. We depend on your hard work and ability to quickly respond to emergencies.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least a year of related experience in industrial maintenance
• Massachusetts Electrical License
• Valid driver's license
• Dependable and on time for all shifts
• Quality mindset
• Safety as first priority

Instrumentation and controls experience is a plus! Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs is preferred, but not necessarily required. We will train the right person! Do you have strong mechanical skills? Are you a problem-solver? If so, you may be perfect for this position!

WORK SCHEDULE

The Rousselot plant operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The typical schedule for this position is from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm with a rotating schedule of 3 days on / 3 days off. This means that weekend and holiday work is required.
