The Account Manager is responsible for the overall managing and administration of sales volume for their assigned Marketplace accounts.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Account oversight: Manage administration of Marketplace Accounts, to include oversight of account creation, accuracy of inventory/product information, timeliness of orders, and problem resolution. Marketplace Accounts may include, but are not limited to: Amazon, eBay, Walmart and Back Market.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain relationships with Marketplace customers, including monthly calls to customers regarding products to sell. Resolve any underlying issues.
  • Competitive account pricing: Benchmark pricing against market to ensure competitive pricing to drive product movement and revenue.
  • Account Supply: Collaborate with buyer on account supply, including communicating price updates and weekly deal submissions.
  • Ensure inventory turns in order to avoid aging inventory.
  • Refurbished Products: Manage refurbished product inventory and ensure competitive pricing and turning. Work with external partners.
  • Perform root-cause analysis of customer overall results to ensure maximum profitability, weekly/monthly tracking and report monthly sales results against KPI metrics in order to determine plan of action and identify areas of focus and opportunity needed.
  • Perform additional duties/projects as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred. Related experience considered in lieu of education.
  • Prior experience (3-5 years) in sales in marketplace accounts/e-commerce-based organizations strongly preferred.
  • Strong computer skills, including at least intermediate level Microsoft Excel and excellent internet navigation skills.
  • Highly attentive to detail, excellent follow-up skills, able to work accurately and efficiently at a fast pace, be an excellent multitasker.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

This position works in an office environment with low to moderate noise levels. Individuals may need to sit for long periods of time while operating a keyboard and/or communicating via telephone. Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
