Whole Dogz is an all organic doggie daycare, boarding, grooming and retail spot.

We want our staff to enjoy their jobs and this can be a part time or full time position - especially if you are in school. Our daycare staff has a daily set of activities to perform with dogs and are responsible for their health and wellbeing. We don't cram dogs into our daycare rooms either- our rooms are one of the largest around and we separate by small, medium and large size dogs.

PLEASE READ: We have two shifts every day: the AM shift is from 6am until roughly 2-2:30 pm, and the PM shift is from 1pm until close (roughly 8:30-10:00pm). We have openings for both shifts, and are looking to fill shifts each day of the week. IMPORTANT: At least one weekend shift per week is REQUIRED.

This job can be a real joy for dog lovers, but you must understand that it takes dedication to earn the love and respect of the dogs in our care. We have a very loyal client base and high standards for the dogs we take care of. Because of this, you MUST have experience handling dogs of all sizes and a basic understanding of dog play and body language.

Job duties are as follows:

• Paying attention to dog behavior and play at all times, breaking up rough play and correcting inappropriate behaviors.
• Keeping the dogs engaged through a set of provided activities and proactive intervention.
• Cleaning up after the dogs on the daycare floor and maintaining a sanitary environment
• Helping take boarding dogs outside at the beginning/end of the shift
• Helping clean daycare rooms and other areas of the facility
• Assisting other staff with their duties. We are all team players!
