The ideal candidate will be highly organized with an attention to detail, able manage multiple projects at one time. Good customer communication is a must. This hands-on role is responsible for a variety of responsibilities including assisting with the onboarding of new customers and jobs, scheduling of production labor, and duties primarily associated with securing zoning and building permits for multiple municipalities in the Central Ohio area.

As a Dispatcher/Scheduler, you will earn a competitive wage of up to $50,000/yr, depending on experience. Plus, we offer a $300 sign-on bonus! Duties to include:

Onboarding new customers and jobs via good phone customer service

Assist Project Managers in the scheduling of field production labor

Research municipality permitting requirements. Keep database per municipality requirements up to date.

Apply for HOA approval, zoning and building permits in timely manner per municipality requirements and follow up weekly.

Handle all documents, correspondence and data entry required to receive building permits.

Follow up with our trade partners for receipt of requested documentation needed to submit for permit.

Communicate with various municipalities to ensure proper documents are submitted to obtain permits and/or certificate of occupancy

Maintain the Permitting Process to ensure the latest updates to the process are included.

Communicate by phone, email/letter or in person with both customers and personnel regarding status of permits.

Work with the production, purchasing and management staff as a team to bring projects from conception to completion.

Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 6 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant
  • At least 4 years of experience in the construction industry
  • Permitting experience a plus
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test
