DISHWASHER
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
THE DISHWASHER'S PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY IS TO CLEAN ALL DISHES, GLASSWARE, SILVERWARE, POTS, PANS AND ANY OTHER COOKING OR SERVING UTENSILS TO A SANITARY AND PRESENTABLE STANDARD AND RETURN ITEMS TO APPROPRIATE AREAS FOR USE. DISHWASHERS WILL GO TO BAR TO PICK UP BUS TUBS AND TO STOCK GLASSES.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
THE DISHWASHER'S SECONDARY RESPONSIBILTIES ARE GENERAL CLEANING AND ASSISTING COOKS, BARTENDERS AND SERVERS IN ANY MANNER APPROPRIATE TO SITUATIONS OCCURING IN THE RESTAURANT. EXAMPLES ARE MOPPING, BASIC CLEANING OF EQUIPMENT, CLEANING MESSES IN RESTROOM.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
DISHWASHERS MUST MAINTAIN AND CLEAN DISHMACHINE. CHEMICALS MUST BE REFILLED AS NEEDED. MACHINE MUST BE DISASSEMBLED AND CLEANED NIGHTLY. CHECKING SANITIZER LEVELS AND FOOD TEMPERATURES PERIODICALLY AND ENTERING THEM IN COMPUTER LOG.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 40 POUNDS. MENTALLY MUST BE ABLE TO REMEMBER AND PREFORM SANITATION PROCEEDURES AND CONSISTENTLY RETURN ITEMS TO CORRECT PLACES IN A TIMELY MANNER. MUST BE ABLE TO READ AND SPEAK ENGLISH.
