The Director, Talent Acquisition (TA) Operations will report to the Vice President, Talent Acquisition and is located at our corporate headquarters in Austin, Texas. This individual will be responsible for standardizing YETI's global TA framework and will work within Talent and with key cross-functional partners to understand challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and align the TA operations strategy and related processes and policies with evolving business needs and priorities.

This role will manage our sourcing and coordination teams, systems and process improvements, employment branding, internship programs, documentation, training playbooks, and reporting. This role will partner with other teams and represent TA on workforce planning initiatives and DE&I programs. This Individual will leverage experience working in a global TA function, preferably in an operations capacity, to partner and drive alignment through influence and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Drives continuous improvement within the TA team, with a keen focus on operational excellence, quality data, process design, and stakeholder experience.
  • Develop YETI's Employer Branding strategy, and partner with internal stakeholders to manage the ongoing execution and optimization of the program - including management of career pages, special branding projects, and marketing campaigns and initiatives via LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and other online talent platforms.
  • Partner with the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) team to assess and improve current DE&I initiatives within the TA team, including management of diversity networking channels/partnership, tracking and reporting of progress, etc.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative data to inform process improvements and drive change management within the global TA team, including the management of weekly recruiting headcount planning, approval processes and reporting.
  • Partner with Talent Systems team to identify opportunities for enhancements in current (and future) ATS and other recruiting software.
  • Develop and manage key pipeline programs, including the YETI Internship Program.
  • Lead and mentor early career sourcing and coordination team members, while driving efficiencies within the team.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and schedule quarterly business reviews.
  • Develop onboarding and training programs for sourcing, coordination and recruiting teams.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, and new technologies and platforms in Talent Acquisition; applies this knowledge to communicate and recommend changes in policy, practice, and resources.

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 15 years of experience working in Talent Acquisition, preferably with experience working in an operational capacity. At least 6 years of experience leading teams.
  • Advanced proficiency in a variety of ATS applications with Greenhouse and Workday experience preferred.
  • Experience managing employment brand across various channels including LinkedIn and Glassdoor.
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing early in career talent.
  • Experience working within a global, public company highly preferred.
  • Experience with managing headcount approvals as it relates to workforce planning.
  • Passion for driving efficiencies and process improvement across the organization.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to report on KPIs and Talent Acquisition metrics.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships across teams to achieve key business objectives for the company.
  • Possess strong initiative and ability to work within high-growth, dynamic environments.
  • Out of the box thinker who enjoys solving problems.
  • Positive attitude and professionalism are required for success.

  • Onsite: Role requires you to be onsite full-time.
  • Hybrid: Role requires you to be located in Austin, Texas and is a mixture of onsite and remote.
