In this role you will be a full life cycle recruiter collaborating with hiring managers on a regular basis to proactively fill their jobs. Plays a critical role in ensuring that Insmed’s talent acquisition strategy and programs support the organizational goal to attract, retain, and develop top talent.
This role will be responsible for managing contract recruiters and a sourcing specialist
Additional representative responsibilities will include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following:
- Manages end-to-end, full life-cycle recruitment, from initial approach to search completion for assigned positions including candidate sourcing and assessment, employment branding, candidate experience and recruitment process.
- Oversees a team of contractor talent acquisition professionals, regularly monitors progress, provides direction and redirection as needed, actively resolves conflict, and removes barriers as they arise.
- Builds and maintains strong consultative relationships with leaders and HRBP teams to understand hiring needs, translate needs into strategies; foster a culture of excellence with deep recruiting subject matter expertise and strong business acumen
- Takes proactive steps to identifying new and untapped places to source talent.
- Implement creative sourcing strategies and grow and maintain an accessible network and pipeline of qualified, external candidates. Anticipate the needs of our organization by ensuring that we have a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future opportunities.
- Evaluate recruiting practices with an eye towards continuous improvement; identify opportunities to streamline and increase effectiveness
- Provide outstanding candidate experience / service delivery
- Responsible for managing effective external partnerships and measuring success with external recruitment partners
- Takes a proactive approach to shape and influence stakeholder expectations
- Sees the big picture, constantly imagines future scenarios, and creates strategies to sustain competitive advantage
- Partners with external agencies on selected roles
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
- 10+ years progressive recruiting experience in a fast paced and high growth biotech or pharmaceutical environment is required
- 4+ years of experience leading contractor or in-house Talent Acquisition teams
- Proactive, solutions-oriented approach to work; able to demonstrate creative problem-solving skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with deadlines and effectively manage heavy requisition load
- Ability to help create hiring strategy focusing on skills-based hiring, critical areas talent pipelines, attracting diverse talent etc.
- Clear understanding of sourcing techniques and tools such as job boards, Applicant Tracking System tools and other resources to locate qualified candidates.
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills as well as the ability to prioritize business requirements appropriately through a collaborative partnership approach
- Demonstrated experience successfully developing and executing metrics-driven talent strategies
- Knowledge of recruiting issues and trends, labor laws, and legislative initiatives that have implications for the business
