As a key team member, you will have compliance responsibility for all aspects of FSRC across Walmart's suite of financial products and services globally. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned compliance professional to lead, shape, and develop FSRC for the world's largest retailer as it continues to expand its financial services offerings around the globe. You'll make an impact by:
- Serving as subject matter expert ("SME") providing governance oversight of FSRC risks across Walmart's suite of financial products and services (i.e., money transfers, lending, prepaid access, credit cards, etc.) for the US and globally
- Proactively identifying FSRC risks across the enterprise and escalating to leadership when appropriate
- Guiding the design, development, and enhancement of strategic governance initiatives, processes and controls to effectively manage and mitigate FSRC risks globally.
- Advising on FSRC risks and obligations associated with new and existing financial products, services, and initiatives
- Collaborating with external and internal business stakeholder, team members, senior management to strategically advance program objectives
- Performing gap analyses, including conducting root cause analysis and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to mitigate risks and close gaps
- Performing regulatory research and analysis in response to compliance inquiries as well as supporting the business to comply with new and amended laws and regulations
- Providing advisory support with regulatory and other third-party examinations, and/or compliance audits or reviews
You'll sweep us off our feet if...
- You are a FSRC subject matter expert with extensive years compliance experience with experience working within large/medium sized financial institutions and/or non-bank financial institutions (FI's and NBFI's)
- You have extensive experience working with a broad array of global financial products & services including prepaid access and lending products
- You have experience working with global markets, such as Mexico, Central America, China, Canada and India on FSRC risk management practices
- You are a self-motivated, customer-centric, and strategic-minded compliance professional accustomed to working with cross-functional stakeholders in fast-paced environments
- You are familiar with the essential elements of a corporate compliance program and are obsessed with continuous program improvement
- You have substantial experience in a global setting, supporting the operationalization of compliance controls
- You have experience leading and directing strategic governance initiatives within a FSRC second line of defense function.
- You have experience conducting risk assessments related to third-party vendors and/or new products/services.
- You have strong communication skills to effectively interact with and influence stakeholders
- You have experience working in cross-functional teams within a matrix environment
- Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM)/Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (ACAMS) preferred
