The Director of Operations is responsible for the leadership of establishing and executing a comprehensive operations strategy for Lance Camper. Responsibilities include organizing and overseeing the daily operations through managing processes and procedures effectively and efficiently, coaching and developing a professional Operations team throughout the organization.
Specific Job Functions Include:
- Liaise with leadership team to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals.
- Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of business to ensure smooth progress.
- Supervise staff from different departments and provide constructive feedback.
- Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives and apply improvements.
- Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation.
- Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability.
- Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation.
- Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.
- Ensure that the company runs with safety, legality and conformity to established regulations.
- Leads, manages and strengthens a team of managers and operations associates.
- Sets and executes strategy for processes, efficiencies, and quality.
- Responsible for the operations activities consistent with corporate guidelines for quality, performance, and growth objectives.
- Develops and assures compliance to corporate best business practices for all sourcing activities.
- Works closely with sales, R&D, engineering, and supply counterparts to manage the operations and identify opportunities / technologies.
- Participates as a core team member on new product development.
- Facilitates discussions, documents well-conceived plans, provides thought leadership, builds consensus across the organization, and influences key decision makers.
- Coordinates with REV counterparts to execute common operations strategies and works closely with them on key projects.
- Fills a senior leadership role within Lance Camper and is expected to provide a meaningful impact in overall performance and significantly influence overall organizational direction.
Candidate Profile:
The area of responsibility for this role is very wide and thus requires thorough knowledge of various company processes. The ideal candidate must be competent and able to plan many different kinds of operational activities. Must be an excellent leader who can discover the most efficient ways to run the business. The goal is to safeguard and augment the efficiency of the company’s operations to facilitate accelerating development and long-term success while creating a team based environment, and driving long-term change.
Required Qualifications:
- BS degree in Business, Engineering (MBA or MS in Business Management or equivalent degree strongly preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in Director of Operations with focus on processes and efficiencies, preferably in a Lean Manufacturing environment.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is required

The pay for newly hired employees in this position at this location in California is between $112,500 - $180,000. This is based on meeting all of the requirements of the role. The base pay offered for the role may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We are proud to offer competitive benefits in addition to competitive pay.
