The IT Director is responsible for the administrative and technical oversight of Information Technology Services across the agency. In this comprehensive role, the Director of IT will implement the latest evidence-based practices and is responsible for ensuring IT processes are secure and effective, especially as related to patient care confidentiality. The ideal candidate has progressive leadership experience in an information technology setting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Contact technology suppliers and electronic consultants to receive/review bids for updated technology.
Ensure monthly reviews of current software, assistive technology, hardware backups, security measures, virus updates/software are performed on an on-going basis.
Ensure installation and maintenance of all purchased hardware and software.
Oversee on-site implementation training on all purchased goods to ensure users is knowledgeable of new product and are able to demonstrate ability to operate.
Serve as a member on the Information Technology Committee and oversee as the chairman of the committee.
Assist in development of strategic planning/ management of the information systems and services.
Implement and direct a disaster recovery system for Primary Health Choice to assure compliance with federal and state regulations.
Direct, prepare and present recommendations that pertain to Communication, Information Technology and Computer Services to the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors.
Research, prepare and make needed recommendations to the Executive Committee, Board of Directors and Finance Committees on any budgetary needs for Communication, Information Technology, Computer Services departmental updates/upgrades.
Direct and manage Primary Health Choice’s information technology infrastructure.
Coordinate and oversee any outside vendors/ subcontractors as needed, in the installation and maintenance of services.
Perform diagnostics as needed to identify and troubleshoot hardware/ software problems.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
