BIOSWEEP of Alabama was founded in 2014 by Roy Ponder as the premier odor removal company in Opelika, Lee County, and the state of Alabama. BIOSWEEP of Alabama works with insurance agents and adjusters, realtors, property managers, businesses, and homeowners to create healthy indoor environments. Position: Client Services Director
Reports to: Roy Ponder, President
BIOSWEEP of Alabama is hiring a marketing and communications specialist to join their team. This person is bright and vibrant, flexible to adapt to new situations, a continuous learner, and able to handle a significant workload while maintaining organization and communication. The ideal candidate has a passion for talking to people, building relationships, and bringing peace to otherwise stressful situations.
Duties:
· Work with management to establish and maintain a budget for marketing activities to include conferences, sponsorships, exhibitions, promotions, and entertainment. Ship, assemble, and manage exhibition booths.
· Work with management to identify and participate in client education opportunities. Develop educational seminars to deliver to client segments.
· Identify different segments of the industry that will benefit from our services. Differentiate between the types of companies and how the approach to serve them will be different. Build relationships and actively secure assignments from each segment.
· Understand the business of BIOSWEEP – Our mission and vision, our processes, what we can and cannot do, etc. Talk fluently to clients about our services.
· Coordinate the design and printing of materials and marketing collateral.
· Use a strategic planning calendar and CRM to manage visits to lead-generating homeowner representatives. Develop a system to correspond with clients at appropriate times, and in the appropriate format (face to face, email, phone call, etc.), as well as make updates and report on performance regularly.
· Write and distribute press releases, blog posts, and marketing copy and content for external publications, including articles and content for social media.
· Create and implement a communications calendar and digital strategy including the management of all social media channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
· Overall management of the company’s website including updates, creating content and managing photo/video elements. Analyze website and social media traffic and other key metrics. Write Google Ads as needed.
· Other duties as assigned by the management staff.
Desired experience and required attributes:
· Must be committed to integrity, both personally and professionally.
· Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or related field with 2-4 years professional experience in Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing.
· Comfortable with accountability. Take ownership and pride in a job well done, but eager to share successes and challenges in order to grow. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Strong time management and organizational skills required. Able to prioritize tasks, collect data, and plan efficiently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
· Team player mentality and willingness to support colleagues, even if it is outside the job description. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations. Flexibility to change plans quickly if needed. Energetic optimism about the company and life in general.
