One Vision is seeking Full time Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for the Lake Mills area!
Our full-time Direct Support Professional's earn a competitive compensation package including a sign-on bonus and referral bonus program after hire. We also offer excellent benefits including health, dental, life insurance, a 401k plan, paid holidays, paid sick time and vacation time.
As a Direct Support Professional, you support individuals with daily living skills including housekeeping, laundry, cooking, hygiene, and self-administration of medications. Because of the safety training One Vision provides, you are able to ensure safety in the home.
While supporting people with disabilities, you learn their individual differences in ability, personality, interests, learning, motivation, and likes and dislikes. You encourage community engagement by driving the individuals you support to appointments and leisure activities in addition to supporting them with finances and grocery shopping.
You will love being able to make a direct impact on the life of each person you support by helping them realize their goals and introducing them to new opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Basic computer skills needed to complete documentation
- Current driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to use equipment to lift people that cannot lift themselves
- Ability to lift and transfer individuals
- Ability to pass a drug test
