The primary objective of this position is to grow new business in the assigned territory. Candidate will actively promote and sell our solutions to the market in coordination with highly visible nonprofit organizations. The successful candidate is an experienced sales person, comfortable working with small and medium size business.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Achieve assigned sales quota in the designated geographic region by identifying, qualifying and selling Clarity payments products to small and medium businesses
- Responsible for complete sales cycle, from sourcing leads to closing sale opportunity
- Grow business profitably by identifying quality sales opportunities
- Determines customer need and matches need to appropriate product offering
- Delivers well organized and compelling presentations (one to one and small workshops)
- Effectively positions and differentiates the features and benefits of products and services versus competitors
- Performs customer training and implementation as needed
- Partners with internal and external customers in a collaborative and positive manner
Job Skills and Requirements
- Four (4) year Degree or equivalent
- Proven self-starter with 3+ years selling to small and medium size businesses
- Entrepreneurial spirit and drive
- Exceptional presentation skills, verbal and written communication skills
- Highly developed negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships
- Demonstrated ability to influence vertically and horizontally
- Proficiency with Windows XP, MS Outlook, Word and Excel
