Auburn Health Care is a skilled nursing facility providing skilled nursing care, PT, OT ans ST services as well as long term care.

Dietary Aide/Cook
We pride ourselves on the good tasting food served from our kitchen, and are looking for an experienced and passionate Aide to help support our team at Auburn Health Care Nursing & Rehabilitation. The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience preparing southern dishes, enjoys working in a busy environment, can take direction well and multi-tasks effectively. If you have experience in dietary services or are looking to start somewhere, apply with us!

Responsibilities could include:

• Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items

• Collaborate with the team to prepare meals during our dining hours

• Maintain accurate food inventories

• Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures

• Rotate stock items as per established procedures

• Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift

• Assist in setup and serving of food from counters and steam tables.

• Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work stations.

• Setting up trays

• Washing dishes

• Pouring beverages

• Plating desserts

• Maintaining sanitary conditions in accordance with state and federal guidelines.

May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
