20-24 hours a week including every other weekend 3:30pm-7:30 pm

Greenwich Woods is a 217-bed long term/short term rehabilitation facility that has been serving the Westchester and Fairfield Counties for more than 34 years. Our facility is conveniently located on the border of Rye Brook NY, with easy access to the Hutchinson River/Merritt Parkways and I-684

Dietary Aide Responsibilities

• The Dietary Aide sets up food trays in accordance with individual resident diets
• The Dietary Aide cleans and sanitizes work surfaces, dishware, and equipment
• The Dietary Aide will assist in the setting up and taking down of dining areas
• The Dietary Aide will deliver food to the nursing units and/or resident rooms
• The Dietary Aide prepares and serves snacks and beverages
• The Dietary Aide takes inventory of food and kitchen supplies

Qualifications

• As a Dietary Aide you must have a positive attitude with a willingness to learn and work as a team member
• As a Dietary Aide you must have a commitment to customer service excellence in all interactions with residents, family members, and facility team in accordance with our customer service performance standards.
• The Dietary Aide must pay attention to detail, have good follow through skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• The Dietary Aide must demonstrate the ability to be dependable, responsible, and work independently.
• The Dietary Aide must have a good work ethic regarding appearance, productivity, attitude, and attendance
• Must be able to read and follow instructions in English
• Having experience as a Dietary Aide and/or Cook in a long term/short term health care facility is desired, but not required
