DevOps App Developer Job at SunPlus Data Group, Inc.
SunPlus Data Group is looking for a DevOps App Developer to work for a State Government facility in Olympia, WA.
This is for 12 months to start and is likely to extend
Hours are generally M-F, 40 hrs/week
Pay is $63/hr W2 hourly or $70/hr 1099 (CTC)
**(THIS POSITION IS 90% REMOTE AND 10% ON-SITE ONLY, MANDATORY WITH NO EXCEPTIONS) **
It usually takes the State Government about 1-3 weeks to start interviews, just so that you are aware of the timeframe. The first interview will usually be via phone or WebEx.
Job Summary:
The State of WA is seeking a DevOps App Developer with documented experience. The DevOps App Developer will assist in development work for our IT Prioritization and Planning department. WDVA’s Suicide Prevention department needs a web app for our Service Members, Veterans, and Military Families to find Suicide Prevention resources in their local area and an interface for service providers to apply to the program.
- Develop and implement application program interfaces (API), and produce quality development requirements, documentation, and strategies.
- Conduct functional and non-functional testing.
- Understand dependencies across multiple applications when developing, maintaining, and making enhancements to applications.
- Resolves technology issues related to the server environment, platform, software, and hardware requirements.
- Troubleshoots and debugs applications, interfaces, and web services.
- Use data access security requirements in collaboration with the Information Technology Security Office for Policy and Standards.
