Check Defense is a fast-growing federal contractor seeking Defense Attaché (SDO/DATT Role Players who can create and simulate today’s complex modern Battlefield in support of a new opportunity. The DATT provides operations support to the military missions: to provide realistic joint and combined arms training focused on developing today’s war-fighters to create combat effective Soldiers and Leaders within the ranks of the United States Military for success on the 21st Century Battlefield.

Job Description:
Defense Attaché (SDO/DATT). Role player shall serve as the Defense Attaché/Senior Defense Officer in the exercise scenario. Role player shall have prior experience serving as a Defense Attaché in the CENTCOM area of responsibility. The role player shall be able to display basic and advanced knowledge and understanding of military operations. The role player shall be able to interact with military forces in a professional manner and understand daily operations in an embassy. The role player shall be able to provide context of the country simulated and requirements for Advising FSF elements within the scope of the exercise. There is no language requirement for this role player. Clothing is business attire however weather dependent. The DATT will be a member of the Country Team along with the Foreign Affairs Officer. The role player will be required to work from 0800 to no later than 2200, Each Role Player will be provided a 30-minute break between each 90-minute leader engagement as well as 90 minutes for lunch and dinner.
**Must have prior experience serving as a Defense Attaché (DATT) or similar position in the CENTCOM area of responsibility.
