GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION


Under general supervision, but following established policies and procedures, as well as all applicable banking laws and regulations, including BSA and AML, is responsible assisting customers and banking center personnel with questions regarding Debit Cards. Assists the Debit Card Services Manager with coordinating the daily activities of other personnel in the department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Assists the Debit Card Services Manager with the review, delegation, and management of workloads and daily tasks ensuring tasks are completed in an accurate and timely manner. Maintains a strong working knowledge of all departmental policies and procedures to provide department staff with ongoing support and guidance. This duty is performed daily, about 30% of the time.
  • Assist management with compiling departmental data for analytical and reporting purposes. This duty is performed daily, about 30% of the time.
  • Knowledgeable of debit card standards, bank policies, procedures, and Regulation E. Assists employees and customers with reviewing and answering questions related to outstanding debits and errors on customer cards. Refers more difficult or complex problems to the Debit Card Services Manager. This duty is performed daily, about 30% of the time.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


  • High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area; e.g. data processing, clerical/administrative, equipment operation, etc,
  • 2 years related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

One Saturday a month 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, often in place of 1 week day. Weekends include generous shift differential.
