We are looking for a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician to join a pharmacy in North Ft Lauderdale.The ideal candidate must have a Florida Pharmacy Technician license and previous data entry experience. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering prescription information into our computer system.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter prescription information into our computer system.
- Ensure that all prescriptions are processed in a timely manner.
- Verify patient information and insurance coverage.
- Contact physicians for clarification on prescription information when necessary.
- Follow all pharmacy regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
Requirements:
- Active Florida Pharmacy Technician license.
- Previous data entry experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Familiarity with pharmacy software and technology.
- Flexibility to work Monday - Friday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
