The Bernard Group is looking for a Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will process and presort customer data and convert that data into usable files for the production department and client analytics. You will work directly with the project manager team and assist with excel work. This position requires experience in analyzing and manipulating a large variety of data with the goal of eliminating duplicate data, discovering incomplete data, and proactively suggesting remediation efforts to improve upon the quality of the data.
Shift Available: Monday through Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
A variety of these traits will help land you this job. If you have:
- High school degree or GED equivalent
- 2 or more years of relevant experience
On top of that you must:
- be technically savvy with computer skills, including email, and other computer applications. You must be able to have the mechanical aptitude to comprehend complex instructions and apply that learning to effectively and efficiently interact with other production areas and outside vendors supplying inventory/materials.
- have at least an intermediate skill set with Microsoft Excel, Power Query, Power BI.
- have knowledge of Tableau, Jira, Smartsheet, AWS and ERP.
- drive results, take initiative and be action-oriented by applying time management and self-management skills every day in order to meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.
- be able to collaborate and embrace the “Art of the Team” by working with people to create unique solutions.
- be able to drive engagement, be passionate about excellence and drive a passion for quality in all that the team produces.
In this position you’ll:
- perform quality checks to ensure the integrity of the data.
- modify, merge, and create large distro lists with large amounts of information.
- review and manipulate data using various software products to create output data as production-ready files with supporting documentation.
- cleanse data by eliminating duplications and identifying incomplete data with recommendations on remediation efforts to improve on the quality of the output and be able to provide appropriate documentation.
- create data profiles while integrating disparate data systems as part of data merges.
- communicate any concerns or issues expeditiously to the Project Manager lead or team manager.
- perform miscellaneous projects and complete various tasks as requested by management.

- able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Have strong interpersonal skills including demonstrated listening skills and the ability to present ideas and thoughts concisely and effectively both internally and outside the organization.
- willing to sit or stand at a desk for an extended period of time and perform long hours of work sitting at a computer.
- able to apply manual dexterity and visual acuity for computer keyboarding and office equipment use and to review detailed reports and information.
- willing to move around the plant and office areas repeatedly throughout the day.
