Courier/Facilities Assistant Job at Perry Homes

This position is primarily responsible for receiving items and distributing them to the proper department or community.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for accurate and timely delivery of items for the daily courier run to Perry Homes communities.
  • Assemble furniture as necessary.
  • Light building maintenance as needed. (Changing light bulbs)
  • Receive and process incoming packages and distribute to proper department.
  • Maintain supply room with office supplies and ordering as needed.
  • Schedule necessary/ preventative maintenance on company assigned vans and maintain cleanliness of vehicles.
  • Responsible for the organization and cleanliness of the Perry Homes mailroom.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Requires at least 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  • Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Work Availability

  • Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • Must be regularly available and willing to work at least full workdays from Monday through Friday and such other hours as the Company determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee typically works in an air conditioned office environment; however, on occasion, the employee must go outside the office and may be in non-air conditioned environments for short periods of time.
