SCOPE AND MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
- Under the supervision of or in the absence of the Count Team Supervisor, is responsible for completing the scheduled hard and soft drop/counts of the slots, tables and arcade and the associated documentation/paperwork in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Enterprise.
SYNOPSIS OF DUTIES:
- Under the supervision or in the absence of the Count Team Supervisor, the Count Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the assigned responsibility (either hard and soft drop with hard count or soft count) and that all regulatory rules and regulations, along with the Enterprise procedures and internal controls are adhered to by the Count team in completing the hard and soft drops/counts of the slots, tables, and arcade.
- This includes keeping the drop or count team together, notification to Surveillance and Security as required; accurately entering/recording the count into the applicable software system, verification of the count, preparation of the count reports and obtaining required signatures.
- The Count Team Leader is responsible for ensuring that the count equipment is cleaned after each day’s count.
- Also, the incumbent is responsible for the assets accounted for during the count until transferred to the Cash Desk.
- The position will be responsible for other responsibilities and projects as required by the CFO.
PREREQUISITES
General:
- Must be age 21 or older.
- Must qualify for a Tribal Key Gaming License.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
- Must possess strong mathematical skills.
- Must be able to communicate in the primary languages used in the workplace.
Experience:
- Previous experience as Count Attendant required.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Computer literate with 10 key by touch and data entry skills.
- Speed and accuracy required.
Physical:
- Bending, kneeling, pushing/pulling a heavy cart, lifting coin buckets weighing up to 60 pounds, grasping, hand and finger dexterity, hand- eye coordination, standing for long periods; and color acuity.
