Corporate Citizenship Manager Job at Global Partners
The Corporate Citizenship Manager is responsible for leading Global Partners’ corporate social impact investments and re-envisioning the Company-led foundation. The Manager will create and implement a multi-year strategy for coordinating, growing, and marketing Global’s social impact and philanthropic investments that support the business objectives. This includes cross-department coordination of existing and new giving, volunteer coordination, and administration of the company-led foundation.
The Corporate Citizenship Manager reports to the Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability. They work with members of the Executive Team, foundation board, community liaisons, and other groups to establish, track, and execute upon charitable goals.
We offer a flexible work environment. This means working up to 2 days a week remotely and the rest of the time in the office.

“Gauges” of Responsibility
Strategy and Organization:
- Develop a long-term long strategy for corporate giving and charitable activities that supports business objectives. Identify strategic partnerships.
- Coordinate across all departments to determine current giving and create a structure and strategy for ongoing donations and participation.
- Re-envision and relaunch the company-led foundation.
- Work with accounting to appropriately track and evaluate corporate giving. Establish approval processes.
- Work with Communications and Marketing to ensure our efforts are communicated and marketed.
Fundraising and Event Coordination:
- Organizes and executes fundraising opportunities and events for company and company-led foundation (including golf and fishing tournaments) .
- Implement, track, and follow up on all giving campaigns, and other charitable department initiatives.
- Make calls and schedule visits with potential and current donors to nurture their interest.
- Coordinate the timely dispatch of acknowledgment letters for financial and in-kind donations.
- Oversees gift acceptance.
- Coordinates monthly reporting and financial recording.
- Maintain and further develop relationships with donors.
Volunteerism:
- Encourage donations of volunteer time and talent—internally and with external partners.
- Coordinate volunteer activities.
- Supervise the standardization, improvement, and maintenance of all aspects of the Global volunteer program.

QUALIFICATIONS
- At least five (5) years’ fundraising, foundation, or event experience.
- Management experience, including the ability to motivate, lead, set objectives, and manage the performance of a board of directors and volunteers.
- Ability to foster an environment of creativity and professional growth.
- Expert knowledge of current and evolving trends in major-gifts giving and solicitation and fundraising campaigns.
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with major individual donors, foundations, and corporations.
- Business planning experience a plus.

- Bachelor’s Degree.
