Description: We are Lockheed Martin

As a Contracts Negotiator, you will support a classified ADP portfolio by performing contracts management functions to include: contract administration, negotiations, metrics, and future contract planning.

In this role you will work across functions to provide business advice and guidance on a breadth of responsibilities including contract solicitations and business capture, negotiations, and contract terms to include fulfillment of related obligations.

You will be an authorized, empowered representative for the Lockheed Martin Skunk Works as we interface with customer buying representatives, and you will be responsible for building effective relationships and managing contracts to support Lockheed Martin business goals and objectives.

You will need to be be creative and think outside the box, looking for and presenting new ways of solving contractual issues and customer concerns.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access and a security clearance. The candidate will need to obtain an interim Secret Clearance prior to start.

A level 2 employee Typically has 2 - 5 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree, or equivalent experience/combined education in a related discipline
  • Prior exposure to US government contracts
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Desired Skills:
  • Masters degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
  • Intellectual property knowledge.
  • Proposal Experience with Multiple Contract Types (FFP, FPIF, CPAF, CPFF, CPIF, T&M).
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $70,500 - $132,800. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
