The Contract Clerk – Essential Duties

• Process title and registration documents related to the retail sale of automobiles for 1-4 dealerships.
• Process and post accounting entries for 1-4 dealerships.
• Ensure accurate, complete, and timely data in multiple areas of the company's dealership management system.
• Perform regular reconciliations of accounting and operating data
• Assist the management and executive team with any other tasks relevant to the business office
• Monitors all vehicle purchase documents for compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local taxes and fees.
• Processes trade-ins, voids and unwind deals.
• Performs general office duties such as filing, answering telephones, and handling routine correspondence.
• Input inventory control information to ensure accurate reporting.

Contract Clerk - Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in processing the legal documents necessary to transfer or obtain vehicle titles and establish registration.
• Ability to research unusual or complex titling and registration problems and plan and execute their resolution with relative independence.
• Prior experience working for a Retail Automotive Dealership
• Any relevant degree, certification, or professional training
• Proficiency in the CDK Drive, or automotive dealership and general business software platforms
• Proficiency in inter-personal conflict resolution and ability to develop and maintain a team-based culture

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
