The Primary function of this position is to engage and inspire youth, ages 6-18, to responsibly use computer technology to learn new and interesting skills. Plan, implement, supervise, and evaluate activities provided within the Technology Lab.
Educate club members on essential computer operations, programming, robotics, digital art, 3D printing and safe use of social media and the internet. Recommended ways to expand technology in all core program areas and explore new products or software to enhance member experiences.
Must monitor and evaluate situations quickly, using good judgement and making decisions. Create and maintain a clean, safe environment withing the Technology Lab.
Qualifications: High School diploma is required. Associate's or advanced degree preferred. Computer operation skills, word processing, social media, internet, 3D printing, programming, robotics, digital art and games. Updated on current and new technology.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
