Compliance and Training Specialist Job at Aviagen
We are looking for an outstanding person to fill a new position of Compliance and Training Specialist. This person will be responsible for supporting the training needs of all employees. Occasional travel will be required for ongoing training. This role will work closely with the Hatchery Managers and staff to identify the training needs for the groups as well as each individual. This position will report to the Hatchery Manager.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required; College degree preferred
- Proven working experience with Microsoft Office is required
- Effective presentation skills
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bilingual communication skills a plus
- Occasional overnight travel is required
Primary Responsibilities
- New Hire, Recurring, and Job Specific Training
- Individual and Group Training Needs, as identified
- Working closely with other groups within the company to become a subject matter expert on new operating systems, program changes, etc., prior to deployment
- Working closely with external groups to coordinate subject matter experts to perform additional training needs
- Maintaining and improving upon the current calibration program
- Being the “gate keeper” for work instructions, forms, manuals, etc.
- Performing internal audits within the departments
- Identifying deficiencies
- Performing Root Cause and Corrective Action Analysis
- Personally responsible for implementing the corrections for deficiencies and improvements
- Coordinate and accompany internal and external auditors
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- Produce monthly reports on progress and needs
- Capable of working well in a team environment as well as individually
