JOB DESCRIPTION
The Commercial Sales & Marketing Assistant performs a wide range of administrative and office support duties for the Commercial Sales department. He or she answers incoming telephone calls and greets visitors in a friendly, interested, and helpful manner. He or she may also help with inventory tracking, record keeping, and reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages inbound and outbound communication, such as phone calls and messages, e-mails, social media inquiries, and letters
- Provides clerical support, such as typing, filing, copying, data entry, and record keeping
- Manages all required paperwork and records and prepares documentation including forms and reports when needed using word processing, spreadsheet, or database software
- Logs all customer information into the computer system and ensures all information is accurate and up to date
- Assists with vehicle inventory control and maintains accurate records
- Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
- Follows all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required
- Some post high school education or training highly preferred
- Two years of relevant experience
- Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, telephone skills, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
- Strong social media skills, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.
- Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
- Highly professional and dependable
- Experience with CRM or other customer service software a plus
- Strong mastery of spelling, grammar, punctuation, and proofreading rules
- Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite
- Graphic design experience preferred
