ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: :
- Describe the selection of beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods
- Maintain food & menu knowledge for items offered in the lounge; communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the bartender using the hotel’s point-of-sales system
- Check completed orders with the guest’s original order; transport items to the guest table in a timely manner
- Handle all guest requests in a professional and courteous manner
- Breakdown, clean, and set-up up tables and drink stations
- Complete knowledge of the wine by the glass program, beer selections, and overall liquors
- Ability to use Micros POS system in an efficient manner
- Works with other restaurant staff and kitchen to deliver an exceptional dining experience
- Perform side work in a timely and accurate manner
- Sincere and warm interaction with all guests including consistent eye contact with a smile
- Follow and deliver 5 Star services’ standards, delighting guests by anticipating their needs
ESSENTIAL WORK SKILLS: :
- Maximize revenue potential by using proper selling techniques
- Uniform cleanliness and proper attire at all times without exception
- Maintain and follow high safety standards and personal conduct
- Follow Company policies and procedures as established in the Employee Handbook
- Comply with the attendance policy and specially meal breaks and rest breaks, reporting any discrepancies to management

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: :
- - Must be flexible with a schedule - Able to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays shifts
- Ability to carry and balance a tray
- 2 years of dining experience as a Food Server
- Proficient conversational and written English
- Able to stand and walk, and moving for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 25 pounds or more
- Must have valid Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days of hire
- Must have valid Alcohol Server Certification within 30 days of hire
