Western NC Community Health Services (WNCCHS) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). As we continue to grow, we are seeking a full-time energetic people-oriented Clinical Nurse Educator.

RESPONSIBILITIES- Includes but not limited to the following:

• The Clinical Educator will develop and implement clinical education for all WNCCHS clinical support staff including nurses, medical assistants, and dental assistants.
• Develop competencies for clinical, dental and support staff and the development of training to support associated workflows.
• Responsible for training on the use of health information technologies, e.g., devices.
• Provide both group and individual training with the ability to assess individual competencies.
• Function as a float nurse to cover for our Clinical Team Leads (about 20-30% of the time)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Three (3) to five (5) years of ambulatory nursing or educator experience
• Current North Carolina Registered Nurse license
• Current Basic Life Support (CPR) certification
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to recognize problem situations and act upon them quickly
• Skilled in decision making, problem solving, exercising independent nursing judgment with a broad knowledge of ambulatory nursing practice

Pay: $71,254.00 - $78,754.00 per year
