As a Client Advisor on the Client Engagement Team, you will be responsible for providing lifelong support and engage with our clients via telephone, email, online chats, and written correspondence regarding their Medicare insurance benefits.
How you will make an impact as a Client Advisor
- From the moment you login, you’ll be focused on proactively resolving RetireMed clients’ questions and concerns regarding their insurance plan using computer-based resources to help the client
- You will advocate for our clients by explaining benefits, working with their insurance company to solve claim concerns, help the client understand their benefits, and when necessary, help a client find a new health insurance plan that meets their needs
- With every client interaction, you will update the client record in the CRM system with correct data which other stakeholders rely on
- You will document each client interaction in detail in the CRM system
- You will engage with our clients by making outbound calls to ensure their health plan is meeting their needs and ensure they understand and are utilizing their plan benefits
- You will stay compliant with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS) regulations and RetireMed policies
- You will support new and existing employees with onboarding and operational goals
- Other duties may be assigned to support the needs of the business

Minimum Requirements
- Ability to work 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday EST January through September and extended shifts October through December during the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period
- Health insurance license (will be required after hire, onsite training provided)
- Demonstrates performance and productivity goals, during new employee training and after attaining Ohio Insurance License
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- A college degree is preferred

- A passion for helping people with the ability to be empathetic and the desire to go above and beyond to help resolve clients’ questions at the first point of contact
- A customer advocate willing to listen and find creative solutions to address and resolve clients’ questions, concerns, or issues
- A composed individual able to multi-task, navigating multiple computer applications and working efficiently while communicating with our client
- Flexible and quick learner, willing to adapt to changing customer and business needs
- Must have a sense of responsibility to your teammates and our clients, demonstrated by the simplest things such as being on time and available to meet our client’s needs, to being accountable for commitments made to our clients or others and ensuring follow-ups are completed
