Summary:
The Civil Foreman is responsible for effectively leading sub-contractors and a crew from the start of a project to completion keeping safety, quality, budget and timelines in mind. The Civil Foreman is also responsible for reading a set of plans and having the ability to build a BOM based on those plans with forethought of potential issues that may occur during the build-out process. The candidate must have the ability to build each site based on the set of plans provided by the client and understand how to effectively sweep and PIM test all coax lines and fiber per the client specifications.
Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership to identify key success factors for civil crews.
• Concrete services, quality, crew performance and construction cost.
• Direct activities of crew and assist for electrical, civil and structural construction.
• Read and redline engineering drawings.
• Install power plants and batteries.
• General telecommunications civil construction experience.
• Ability to work on and around electrical components (including but not limited to) conduit installations, cabling, grounding and various connectors.
• Perform form setting and set layout.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3-5 years of field supervision within telecommunications field is required
• Experience working on and around electrical components
• Understanding of cell site construction
• Desire to succeed and learn new skills
• Commitment to excellence and high standards
• Strong organizational skills
• Acute attention to detail
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow
• Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
• Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
• Ability to perform Tower Rescues
• Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Outside in all weather conditions.
• Travel is 70 to 100 percent.
• Noise encountered from heavy equipment use on job site.
