RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in development of Electroplating process for new products: Be responsible for the related design evaluation and process feasibility evaluation in the early stage of electroplating new product development; dealing with all kinds of general process problems for new products, and ensure that all process key milestones of new products are completed on time.
  • Participate in design and development of electroplating racks for new products.
  • Assist in the development of new electroplating process colors and color approval/production line approval.
  • Participate in mass production electroplating process maintenance: Participate in solving common process problems of the electroplating line to ensure that the pass rate meets the standard; participate in the maintenance, adjustment, dosing management of on-site process conditions and the implementation of process changes.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of electroplating line performance. Analyze equipment, tooling and process to improve production efficiency, productivity and yield, thereby reducing manufacturing costs.
  • Check the on-site process and supervise the implementation of the electroplating process standards on the production site to ensure the stability of the process.
  • Continuously improve the process with statistical process control, capability measurement, and quality measurement. Learn from failures and improve processes to eliminate failure modes and prevent recurrence. Actively participate in the complete experiment cycle: design, execute, analyze, communicate results and implement solutions.
  • Standardization work and system file maintenance.
  • Effectively communicate status and results to managers through oral and written communication on a regular basis. It may be necessary to communicate with customers and/or suppliers.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Major in chemical engineering, materials science or chemistry, college degree or above
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in electroplating
  • Internship experience in the automotive industry is a great asset
